PyStatR+ was founded by Alier Reng, whose path from a refugee camp to data science reflects the very capacity this institution exists to build. The story is the proof — but the organization, larger than any individual, remains the focus.

Kakuma Refugee Camp

Education begins in northwestern Kenya — the first proof that opportunity follows access to learning.

Leaving Kakuma
